MAAC Player of the Week (10/22/01)

LIBBY LUDWIG, MARIST
F, Fr., 5-7, Commack, NY/St. Anthony's

Ludwig, a freshman forward, led the Red Foxes to a 3-0 week. She registered an assist in Marist's 2-1 victory at Fairfield. Ludwig then scored the game-winning goal in a come-from-behind 3-2 win over Niagara. She closed out the week with the game-winning shot as well as an assist to propel Marist to a 2-0 win against Canisius as the Red Foxes clinched the 2001 regular season title. Ludwig is tied for fifth in freshman scoring and tied for 26th in overall scoring with three goals and two assists for eight points this season.

MAAC Rookie of the Week

TAMI COYLE, RIDER
F, Fr., 5-6, Sayreville, NJ/St. John Vianney

Coyle, a freshman forward, netted three goals and added an assist in Rider's 8-1 victory at Iona. She is second in freshman overall scoring and tied for 13th in overall scoring with four goals and two assists for 10 points.
