Niagara University, NY - The Niagara women's tennis team will will travel to Cambridge, MA to take on the University of Arizona in the first round of the NCAA Division I Women's Tennis Championship.

The first and second rounds will take place at Harvard, the host school. The matches will take place at the Beren Tennis Center.

Harvard will have home court advantage as they take on Oklahoma State in the other match.

Niagara will play its first match on Friday, May 9 and, if they win, on Saturday. Times have yet to be announced.

Arizona won the Pac-10 Tournament last weekend in Ojai, California. The Wildcats had the most individual wins in the tournament.

Niagara is one of eight teams who will be competing in the tournament for the first time. The Niagara women's tennis team won the MAAC Tournament last weekend which automatically earns them a bid into the NCAA Tennis Championships. The Purple Eagles went undefeated in MAAC play this season.
