MAAC Women's Basketball Co-Players of the Week

Jenel Stevens, Canisius
5-9, Sr., G, Freeport, NY

Stevens averaged 20.7 points and 11.7 rebounds as the Griffs won three-straight conference games last week. Stevens shot 57.12 percent from the field and 68.8 percent from the free-throw line while also registering nine assists and seven steals.

Stephanie Del Preore, Marist
6-0, Sr., F, Livingston, NJ/Livingston

Del Preore had a career week averaging 19.5 points, 16 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 2.5 blocks in 60 minutes of action. The forward shot 48.5 percent from the floor and 83.3 percent from the free throw line. Against Rider, Del Preore had the best game of her career putting on a 31-point, 21-rebound performance en route to her 1000th career point. She also tied career-highs with four blocks and four assists. She not only set the Marist for rebounds in a game, but she became the first player in Marist history to score 20+ points and grab 20+ rebounds in a single game.

HSBC MAAC Rookie of the Week

Megan Lyte, Canisius
6-0, Fr., F, Midhurst, Ont./Eastview

Lyte averaged 5.7 points and 4.7 rebounds as Canisius went 3-0 last week to improve to 11-8 overall and 6-4 in the MAAC. Lyte scooped up a loose ball in the paint and scored the game winning basket Friday night at Manhattan.
