Edison, NJ - Edison, NJ -- The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference will close out the 2003-04 MAAC basketball regular season schedule with a doubleheader on the MAAC Television Network on Sunday, February 29.

The Canisius women?™s basketball team will take on Niagara University for a 3:00 p.m. game, which will be tape delayed on the Empire Sports Network, while the Canisius men face Niagara at 6:00 p.m. on the MSG Network and the Empire Sports Network.

This is the second meeting between the two women?™s programs this season, with Niagara earning a 73-70 win over Canisius at the Koessler Athletic Center on February 11. The Golden Griffins hold a 32-27 advantage in the all-time series.

It is the second meeting between the two men?™s programs this season. In the first league meeting this year, Niagara earned a 109-106 overtime victory over Canisius on December 3 at the HSBC Arena. The Purple Eagles now own a 84-72 lead in the all-times series between the two schools.
