EVA CUNNINGHAM, NIAGARA

MAAC Preseason Player of the Year Eva Cunningham helped Niagara to a pair of wins this past week and improve to 7-4 overall and 5-0 in the Gallagher Center. The senior averaged 19.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, 7.0 assists and 1.5 steals in the wins. She also shot 47.8 percent from the field, 60 percent from three-point range and 68.8 percent from the free-throw line. Cunningham added a 2.3 assist-to-turnover ratio with 14 assists and six turnovers. In Niagara's win over Colgate, the point guard scored a game-high 23 points. She also recorded nine assists and two steals. Cunningham sank all six of her foul shots to move into third all-time at Niagara with 341 made free throws. In the victory over Army, she netted a game-high 16 points and seven rebounds. Her 16-point performance also moved her into seventh on Niagara's career scoring list with 1,411 points.

MICHELLE MANFREDI, NIAGARA
5-10, G, Fr., Jefferson Hills, Pa/Serra Catholic

Rookie Michelle Manfredi helped Niagara to a pair of wins this past week and improve to 7-4 overall and 5-0 in the Gallagher Center. The guard averaged 8.5 points, 9.0 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 1.0 steals and had a 1.5 assist-to-turnover ratio. She shot 58.3 percent from the field and 60 percent from the foul line. In Niagara's win over Colgate, Manfredi posted her first collegiate double-double with career highs of 13 points and 11 rebounds. In a tough win at Army, Manfredi scored four points and grabbed a game- and team-high seven rebounds.
