Edison, NJ ?“ The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference continues its 2004-05 Pepsi MAAC Basketball Television Schedule with Iona College hosting Manhattan College on Friday, February 4. Game time is slated for 7:00 p.m. at the Mulcahy Center, and it will air live on the MSG Network and ESPN Fullcourt.

Manhattan is currently 5-6 in the MAAC. The Jaspers are led by senior forward Peter Mulligan, who is averaging 20.4 points and 5.2 rebounds per game, and freshman guard/forward CJ Anderson, who is contributing 15.7 points and 8.4 boards an outing.

Iona is 4-6 in league play. The Gaels are led by junior guard Steve Burtt, averaging 17.0 points per game, and senior center Greg Jenkins, registering 15.5 points and 6.6 caroms a night.

This contest marks the 64th meeting between the two programs. Last year, Iona won the first MAAC meeting between the two schools with a 79-62 win over Manhattan at the Mulcahy Center on January 25. The Jaspers then earned an 88-69 win over the Gaels at Draddy Gymnasium on February 13. Iona owns a 34-29 advantage in the all-time series between the two schools.
