MAAC Announces 2005 New York Lottery Men's And Women's Tennis All-Academic Teams

EDISON, NJ ?“ A total of 40 athletes comprise the 2005 New York Lottery MAAC Men?™s and Women?™s Tennis All-Academic Teams, the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference announced today.
To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student athlete must complete two semesters at their institution, be a significant starter or reserve and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale. Siena College led all schools with eight members named to the teams. Fairfield University and Niagara University each had seven athletes selected. Manhattan College added six members, and Rider University had four student-athletes. Marist College and Saint Peter?™s College both had three student-athletes selected. Loyola College rounded out the teams with two student-athletes.
