Edison, NJ ?“ Marist College?™s David Raucci and Loyola College?™s Andrea Rovegno have been selected Runners of the Week, the league office announced.

Raucci, a freshman from Clermont, NY, won his first collegiate race on September 17 at the Rider Invitational. He won the 8K race in a time of 25:27.5. His finish helped the Red Foxes to a team victory at Rider topping the four team field with a team total of 34 points.

Rovegno, a junior from Wyckoff, NJ, shattered the 5K school record in helping the Greyhounds finish in fourth place at the 33-team National Catholic Cross Country Invitational on the campus of the University of Notre Dame. Rovegno?™s time of 17:43 allowed her to finish in second place overall and eclipse the previous mark of 18:29.30, which was set by Betsy Allen in 1997. Rovegno now hold six of the top 20 times in school history for 5K races.
