Edison, NJ ?“ Manhattan?™s Milan Jotanovic (Bosina-Herzegovina/Technical Secondary School) has been selected Indoor Track & Field male performer of the week, while fellow Jasper Caitlyn Kjolhede (Fly Creek, NY/Emma Willard) and Rider?™s Katie O?™Connor (Forked River, NJ/Lacey Twp) share female performer of the week honors.

Jotanovic captured the Metropolitan Shot Put Championship this past weekend by bettering his record-breaking performance of a week ago when he threw 18.55m at the Jasper Relays to eclipse Tony Harlan?™s indoor mark of 18.52, which stood for 27 year. At the Mets, Jotanovic shattered his mark of 18.55m with a heave of 19.14m (62?™ 10?). The new mark is the fourth-best throw in the country to date and the best by a sophomore.

Kjolhede earned the women?™s high jump crown at the Metropolitan Championship with a mark of 1.70m. The 1.70m mark meets the ECAC Championship qualifying standard. Kjolhede matched the school record of 1.73m earlier in the season at the New Year?™s Invitational.

O?™Connor tied the Rider record and qualified for the ECAC Championships in the high jump with a mark of 1.70 and placed second in the 55m hurdles with a time of 8.69.
