Edison, NJ -- The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference continues its 2005-06 Pepsi MAAC Basketball Television Schedule, hosting three basketball games between Saturday, February 11, and Sunday, February 12.
On Saturday, February 11, Saint Peter?™s College will travel to Baltimore, Md., to take on Loyola College at the Reitz Arena. Game time is slated for 12:00 p.m., and will air live on ESPN2. Saint Peter?™s (12-10, 8-5) is led by senior guard Keydren Clark, who is netting 25.7 points a night for the Peacocks. Loyola (11-10, 5-8 MAAC) is led by senior guard Andre Collins, who is registering 26.9 points a night for the Greyhounds.
On Sunday, February 12, Rider University will host a men?™s and women?™s basketball doubleheader at Alumni Gymnasium. Both games will air on the MSG Network.
The first game of the doubleheader will feature the men?™s programs from Siena College and Rider at 12:00 p.m. Siena, owning a 6-8 record in the MAAC, is led by senior forward Antoine Jordan, who is registering 17.6 points and 8.3 rebounds for the Saints. Rider, who is 4-9 in league play, is led by sophomore forward Jason Thompson, who is averaging 17.2 points and 8.8 rebounds per game for the Broncs.
Game two has the Saint Peter?™s women taking on host Rider for a 4:00 p.m. tip-off. Saint Peter?™s, 4-8 in the MAAC, is led by senior guard Tiffany Jones, who is registering 12.5 points and 4.8 caroms a night for the Peahens. Rider, 1-11 in conference play, is led by sophomore guard Janele Henderson, who is contributing 9.3 points and 3.2 board an outing for the Broncs.
