EDISON, NJ ?“ Manhattan College?™s Zoran Loncar (Belgrade, Serbia) and Marina Liander (Staten Island, N.Y.) have been named the MAAC Men?™s and Women?™s Outdoor Track Performers of the Week, respectively.

Loncar, a senior at Manhattan, captured first place in the hammer throw with a mark of 64.97m at the season-opening Baldy Castillo on March 18. He then recorded a throw of 63.44m for first place at Army?™s Dick Shea Open on March 25.

Liander, a senior at Manhattan, opened her outdoor season by taking second place amongst collegiate entries in the hammer throw at Army?™s Dick Shea Open. Her mark of 51.01m surpasses the ECAC qualifying standard in the event. Liander also made the meet?™s finals in the discus and shot put as well.
