EDISON, NJ ?“ Rider University?™s Doug Beck (Branchburg, N.J.) and Jazmine Fenlator (Wayne, N.J.) have been selected as the MAAC Men?™s and Women?™s Outdoor Track Performers of the Week, respectively.

Beck, a junior at Rider, threw the discus 51.97 meters, an NCAA qualifying distance, to win the event in the Rider Quad Meet with Sacred Heart University, the University of Delaware and Saint Peter?™s College.

Fenlator, also a junior at Rider, broke her own school record in the hammer throw with a first-place toss of 49.34 meters during the Rider Quad Meet. She also threw the discus 48.02 meters, an NCAA qualifying distance, to win the event. Fenlator closed out the meet by taking first place in the shot put with an ECAC qualifying toss of 14.29 meters.
