NICHOLAS SMALDONE, IONA
F, Sr., 6-0, 155, Cheshire, Conn./Notre Dame Prep
Smaldone, a senior forward, recorded two goals and one assist in a 1-0-1 week for the Gaels. He aided in the lone goal in Iona's 1-1 tie with Sacred Heart. Smaldone then netted two scores in the Gaels' 6-0 victory over Philadelphia.

MAAC Defensive Player of the Week

KYLE CHRISTIANSEN, SIENA
GK, Jr., 6-0, 170, Troy, N.Y./Tamarac
Christiansen, a junior goalkeeper, notched the Saints' first shutout of the season in a 0-0 tie with Central Connecticut State on Wednesday afternoon. He tallied three saves on the day.

MAAC Rookie of the Week

ALAN McGREAL, CANISIUS
M, Fr., 5-10, 150, Dublin, Ireland/Drimnagh Castle
McGreal, a freshman midfielder, scored a goal for the second straight game to help Canisius to a 3-2 victory over Detroit in the UB Fall Classic. He was named to All-Tournament team as the Griffs won the tourney for the first time.
