MAAC Offensive Player of the Week

MIKE TROY, FAIRFIELD
M/D, Sr., 6-0, 180, Sandy Hook, Conn./Newtown
Troy, a senior midfielder/defender, scored a goal in two of Fairfield?™s three games last week, including the game-tying goal which sent the Saint Peter?™s game into overtime. He also tallied the team?™s lone goal against Harvard, which gave the Stags a 1-0 lead in the second half. For the season, Troy has three goals as a defender/midfielder.

 

MAAC Defensive Player of the Week

JUSTIN CHELLAND, LOYOLA
GK, Sr., 6-0, 180, Cranford, N.J./St. Benedict's Prep
Chelland, a senior goalkeeper, made eight saves and registered two shutouts in two MAAC contests this weekend. He allowed zero goals in 180 minutes to improve his season goals against average to 1.47.

 

MAAC Rookie of the Week

JAMIE DARVILL, LOYOLA
F, Fr., 5-11, 165, London, England/Bexley Grammer
Darvill, a freshman forward, recorded four points over two victories for the weekend. He scored a goal and added an assist in Friday?™s 3-0 win over Siena, and then assisted on the game-winning goal in Sunday?™s 1-0 win over Marist.
