Making its third NCAA Tournament appearance, second in the last three years and second under ninth-year head coach Joe Mihalich, Niagara University (22-11 overall, 13-5 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference) enters Tuesday?™s Opening Round game against Florida A&M (21-13 overall, 12-6 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) in the West Regional. The contest, which will be played at the University of Dayton Arena in Dayton, Ohio, starts at 7:30 ET live on ESPN.

Should Niagara advance to first-round play, Niagara will face the No. 2-ranked University of Kansas (No. 1 seed) Friday in Chicago at the United Center. The Jayhawks sport a 30-4 record and a Big 12 Conference mark of 14-2. No. 8 seed Kentucky and No. 9 Villanova are on the other half of the bracket.
