OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Matt Girsh, Siena

Sophomore attackman Matt Girsh delivered two impressive performances last week helping the Saints to back-to-back victories. Girsh posted seven goals and three assists over the two contests. On Wednesday, Girsh led all scorers with four goals and an assist guiding Siena to a 13-7 win over Canisius. Then on Saturday, Girsh helped keep the Saints perfect in league play as he tallied three goals and two assists in a 13-7 victory against Saint Joseph's.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Brent Herbst, Siena
6-0, Fr., GK, Plainview, NY
Freshman goaltender Brent Herbst was brilliant in net over the Saints two conference victories last week. Herbst became the only goalkeeper in the league with seven wins. He opened the week with a career best 14 saves helping the Saints to a 13-7 win over league rival Canisius. Herbst allowed just seven goals on 36 shot attempts against the very potent Golden Griffins offense. On Saturday, Herbst delivered another solid performance as he posted seven saves in a win over Saint Joseph?™s. Last week, Herbst anchored the Siena defense recording an impressive 7.34 goals against average.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Ryan Duggan, Siena
6-0, Fr., A, East Setauket, NY / Ward Melville
Freshman attackman Ryan Duggan notched five points helping Siena to back-to-back league wins last week. On Saturday, Duggan delivered the game winning goal with 6:39 remaining in the second quarter to guide the Saints past league rival Saint Joseph's. Duggan finished with two goals and two assists in the contest. Earlier in the week, Duggan posted a goal in Siena's 13-7 win over Canisius.
