Evangelia Papamarkou Named Interim Assistant Commissioner for Marketing & Sales

Evangelia Papamarkou was appointed Interim Assistant Commissioner for Marketing & Sales in December 2006. She had previously served as the conference Director of Marketing since July 2005.
Papamarkou will oversee all current and potential Corporate Partners, marketing and promotional initiatives and also oversees the MAAC Television package.
Prior to joining the MAAC, Papamarkou was the Media Services Manager for MAAC Properties, a division of Host Communications, Inc. Before her tenure at MAAC Properties, Papamarkou interned in the ticket office of the Pawtucket Red Sox. Papamarkou also held a media relations internship with the Providence Bruins where she compiled & maintained game stats and oversaw press box operations.
Papamarkou is a 2003 graduate of Providence College, where she earned a bachelor??s degree in Mathematics along with a minor in finance. While at Providence, Papamarkou worked in the Sports Information Office for four years.
Papamarkou currently resides in Hazlet, NJ.
