MAAC ANNOUNCES 2006 MEN's AND WOMEN's ROWING ALL-ACADEMIC TEAMS

EDISON, NJ ? A total of 58 athletes comprise the 2006 MAAC Men’s and Women’s Rowing All-Academic Teams, the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference announced today.

To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale. Marist College led all schools with 19 members named to the teams. Iona College added 13 members to the teams. Loyola College had 12 student-athletes selected, while Canisius College added 10. Fairfield University had three student-athletes, and Manhattan College rounded out the teams with one student-athlete.
