Buffalo, NY “Canisius junior attacker Kevin Ross (Toronto, Ont.) has been named Men's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Year, while Manhattan's Corey Dolik (Bloomfield Hills, Mich.), Mount St. Mary's Pat Farrell (Cold Spring Harbor, NY) and Wagner Chris Sochacki (Brant Beach, NJ) were selected Co-Defensive Players of the Year, announced today by the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference.
Ross had an outstanding season, averaging 2.43 goals and 3.43 points, both second best in the league this season. Ross also led the conference in game-winning goals totaling four on the season. One of his best offensive efforts of the season happened on April 26 against Siena. In the game Ross scored five goals and two assists for seven points.
