MAAC Announces 2006 Men's Lacrosse All-Academic Team

Edison, NJ - A total of 45 student-athletes make up the 2006 MAAC Men's Lacrosse All-Academic Team, the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference announced today.

To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student athlete must complete two semesters at their institution, be a significant starter or reserve and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale. Canisius College led all schools with 10 student-athletes on the team, followed by Siena College with eight. Manhattan College placed six student-athletes on the team, while Marist College, Virginia Military Institute and Wagner College all had five. Mount St. Mary?™s University was next with three student-athletes following by Providence College with two student-athletes and Saint Joseph?™s University completed the team with one.
