Ken Taylor enters his 10th year at the MAAC currently serving as Associate Commissioner for Men's Basketball and Baseball.  He was appointed Assistant Commissioner for Men's Basketball, Baseball and Football in June 2006.

Taylor first joined the MAAC staff in August 1999 as Administrative Fellow for Ice Hockey and Media Relations. He was promoted to Director of Ice Hockey and Special Events in July of 2000. In June of 2001, he was promoted to Director of Championships, a position he held until being promoted to Assistant Commissioner for Championships in 2004.

In his current role, Taylor oversees operations for baseball and men's basketball.  He coordinates the 36-game MAAC Basketball television package, officiating bureaus, in-season scheduling andadministration of the MAAC Basketball and Baseball Championships.  He served as Tournament Manager for the 2007 NCAA Men's Basketball Championship First and Second Rounds in Buffalo, NY.

As Assistant Commissioner for Championships, Taylor managed operations for 22 different conference sports. During his tenure handling championships, Taylor spearheaded an effort to secure state-of-the art venues for the MAAC such as the Billy Jean King USTA National Tennis Center for men's and women's tennis, The New Balance Track & Field Center for indoor track & field and U.S. Rowing Training Center in Mercer County, NJ for rowing.

Taylor has been visible on the national scene in a variety of ways. He was a member of the NCAA Men's and Women's Ice Hockey Rules Committee from 2001-2005. He represented the MAAC on the NCAA Division I Championships and Competition Cabinet during the 2004-2005 academic year. Finally, he served as Tournament Manager of the 2003 NCAA Men's Frozen Four in Buffalo, NY and the 2000 NCAA Men's and Women's Cross Country Northeast Regional in New York, NY.

Prior to the MAAC, he spent four years in the University of Michigan's Athletic Department in various capacities. Taylor earned his undergraduate degree from Michigan in 1997 and completed a Master's Degree in Sports Administration from Wayne State University in December of 2003.

Taylor and his wife, Sandra, an associate athletics director and Senior Woman Administrator at Manhattan College, reside in Monroe Township, N.J. with their Daughter Katherine.
