Amanda Janosky, Canisius

F, Sr., 5-10, Derby, N.Y./Lake Shore

Janosky, a senior forward, scored two goals and added an assist to lead the Griffs to a 3-0 victory in their non-conference finale against Youngstown State.

 

Christine Reina, Manhattan

F, Jr., 5-7, Frankfort, N.Y./Notre Dame

Reina, a junior forward, tallied two goals and an assist in Manhattan’s 5-0 win over Holy
Cross.

 

 

 

MAAC Defensive Player of the Week

 

Alicia DeFino, Manhattan

GK, Sr., 5-10, Mineola, N.Y./Wheatley

DeFino, a senior goalkeeper, extended her scoreless minutes’ streak to 314:52 as Manhattan  did not allow a goal on the week.  She tallied 11 saves in a scoreless draw against regionally ranked Stony Brook University, and added two more stops in the shutout win over The College of Holy Cross.

Morse, a freshman midfielder, recorded a goal and assisted on the game winner in Manhattan’s win over Holy Cross.
