AUBREY BOBO, SIENA
OH/MH, Fr., 5-11, Oneida, NY/Oneida
Bobo averaged six kills per game in a pair of road MAAC wins for the streaking Saints. She had a season-high 24 kills in Siena’s 3-1 win at Saint Peter’s and followed that effort up with an 18-kill effort in the Saints sweep of Manhattan Sunday. Bobo added 10 digs against the Peahens to round out the fourth double-double of her young career. She averaged 2.6 digs per game in the two matches, as the Saints improved their MAAC record to 10-0 with their 14th straight win.
MAAC Defensive Player of the Week
JESS STACKHOUSE, CANISIUS
Libero, Fr., 5-9, St. Charles, Missouri/Lutheran
Stackhouse led Canisius with 56 digs on the weekend as the senior averaged 8.00 digs per game in the two matches. Stackhouse had 23 in the team’s win over Niagara and then followed that up with 33 on Sunday. The team’s libero also was perfect on service receptions, not making an error in 41 attempts.
MAAC Rookie of the Week
MICHELLA DOMO, CANISIUS
MH, Fr., 6-0, Vancouver, B.C./Little Flower Academy
Domo led Canisius in kills per game (3.29), attack percentage (.455) and blocks per game (1.29) in the team’s two matches on the weekend. In the team’s three-game win over Niagara on Friday, Domo had 13 kills and just one error on 19 attempts to record a .632 attack percentage. Against Niagara on Sunday, Domo had four solo blocks and three block assists.
