Siena's Seguine and Turnbull Earn MAAC Runners of the Week Honors

Edison, NJ ? Siena College’s Brina Seguine and Jed Turnbull have been named the MAAC Men’s and Women’s Cross Country Runners of the Week, respectively.
Seguine, a freshman, finished 11th overall at the Central Connecticut Invite this weekend in New Britain, Connecticut. She was the top MAAC finisher as she clocked in at 11:52 in the two mile race. Seguine has been named the MAAC Runner of the Week three times this season.
Turnbull, a sophomore, was the top MAAC finisher this weekend at the Central Connecticut Invite on Saturday afternoon. Turnbull finished the 5K men’s course in 16:22 to secure a 20th place finish.
The MAAC Men’s and Women’s Cross Country Championships will take place on Friday, October 26 at Van Cortlandt Park in Riverdale, New York. The women’s race will begin at 1:00 p.m. followed by the men’s race at 1:45 p.m.
