Marist Highlights Holiday Schedule With Trip to MSG

Edison, NJ ? The Marist men’s basketball team will
compete in the Aѐropostale Holiday Festival at Madison Square Garden. The Red
Foxes will face St. Johns in the opening round on Friday night at 8:30 p.m.
Marist,
currently 6-5 overall and 1-1 in the MAAC, will face either Hofstra or Virginia
Tech on Saturday. Both games will be televised live on MSG. In other action,
Loyola will travel to Champaign, Ill. to face the University of Illinois on
Friday night. Tip-off is scheduled for 9 p.m. and will air live on the Big Ten
Network. Manhattan will take on Rutgers in Piscataway at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
The game will air on SNY.
On the women’s
side, Siena will face Syracuse at the Carrier Dome on Friday night. Saint Peter’s
will host the Holiday Tournament at the Yanitelli Center. The Peahens will play
Penn in the opening round and then will face either High Point or Eastern
Kentucky. Iona will make the long trip to Honolulu to compete in the Bank of
Hawaii Invitational against William & Mary and either Hawaii or UC-Irvine.
