MAAC Announces Outdoor Track & Field Weekly Honors

Edison, NJ ? Rider’s David Payne and Manhattan’s Malin Marmbrandt have been selected Outdoor Track & Field Performers of the Week.
Payne, a senior from Neptune, New Jersey, won the 100 meter dash in a time of 10.69, which qualifies him for IC4As, at the Rider Invitational. Payne also was in second in the 200 meter dash, finishing in a time of 21.77 seconds. The Rider Invitational included host Rider, as well as Sacred Heart University, Delaware, La Salle, Temple , Loyola and Saint Peter’s.
Marmbrandt, a freshman from Sweden, captured both the triple jump and long jump titles at the USMMA Coach “O” Invitational this past Saturday. In her final attempt for the triple jump, Malin jumped 11.41 meters (37’ 5.25”) to pass CW Post’s Colleena Guy. In the long jump Malin’s winning mark of 5.52 meters also came on her final leap.
