Women's Lacrosse Championship Kicks Off Today

New Rochelle, N.Y. - The 2007 MAAC Women's Lacrosse Championship tournament kicks off today at noon from Mazzella Field on the campus of Iona College in New Rochelle, N.Y.
Top seed Le Moyne College faces #4 seed Manhattan at noon. Le Moyne defeated Manhattan in their prior meeting this season, 20-4.
In game two, #2 Fairfield meets #3 Marist at 2:00 p.m. The Stags narrowly defeated the Red Foxes 15-14 in their prior meeting this season.
The winners of today's semifinal games will meet on Sunday, April 29 at noon in the championship game.
Le Moyne College claimed last season's championship title, defeating Canisius 15-10.
