Marist Takes 8-3 Victory over Villanova in MAAC Water Polo Semifinal

Poughkeepsie, N.Y. -- Top-seeded Marist College took an 8-3 victory over #4 Villanova University in the second semifinal of the 2007 MAAC Women's Water Polo Championship, held at Marist's McCann Natatorium.
Marist will play second-seeded Wagner College for the championship title at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 29. Villanova will face Iona College in the consolation game tomorrow at noon.
The championship winner will earn the league's automatic bid to the 2007 NCAA Division I Women's Water Polo Championship. The NCAA bracket will announced on Monday, April 30 between 9:00 and 9:30 p.m., live on CSTV.
