MAAC Announces 2007 Water Polo League All-Academic Team

Edison, N.J. ? A total of 28 student-athletes make up the 2007 MAAC Water Polo League All-Academic Team, the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference announced today.

To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale. Iona College led all schools with 11 student-athletes making the team, followed by Marist College’s nine student-athletes. Six athletes earned spots of the team representing Villanova University, and Wagner College had five athletes on the team. St. Francis College (NY) and Siena College each had two student-athletes on the team.
