Iona College Finishes Third in 2007 MAAC Women's Water Polo Championship

Poughkeepsie, N.Y. - Iona College earned an 8-4 victory over Villanova University in the consolation game of the 2007 MAAC Women's Water Polo Championship, held at Marist College's McCann Natatorium.
Amanda Brucia led the Gaels with five goals in the contest. Angela Kohlkoff added two more goals and Amanda Cody netted a lone goal for the Maroon and Gold.
Carla Martinez paced the Wildcats with two goals on the day.
