Silverman Named to MAAC Baseball All-Tourney Team

Canisius College freshman Perry Silverman was named to the MAAC Baseball All-Tournament Team, the league announced today following Le Moyne's 9-7 victory over Manhattan in the championship game.
The outfielder went 3-for-6 with an RBI in the Griffs' two games. He finished the season with a .235 batting average with five doubles, a triple, a home run and 12 RBIs.
Silverman is one of 23 returning letterwinners for the Golden Griffins, who advanced to the MAAC Baseball Championships for the first time since 1994.
