ESPNU Broadcasts of Women's Soccer & Volleyball Championships Highlight 2007-08 Championship Schedule

Edison, NJ - The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference announces its 2007-08 Championship Schedule, which features ESPNU broadcasts of the Women's Soccer & Volleyball Championships.
The 2007 Women's Soccer Championship game is set for November 11 at 12 noon from Leonidoff Field on the campus of Marist College. This will mark the third consecutive season that the Women's Soccer Championship has been nationally broadcast live on ESPNU. The 2007 Women's Soccer Championship will kick off on Friday, November 9 with semifinal games.
2007 will mark the first national broadcast of the MAAC Volleyball Championship game. The championship game is scheduled to air live on Monday, November 19 at 7:30 p.m. on ESPNU. The semifinal round is scheduled to take place on Sunday, November 18. The championship games will be played at Alumni Hall on the campus of Fairfield University.
With the 2007-08 championship schedule, the MAAC continues to host its championships at first-class facilities. The 2008 Baseball Championship will be held May 22 - 25 at Waterfront Park in Trenton, N.J. for the first time. The 2007 Cross Country Championships will again be held at Van Cortlandt Park on Friday, October 26 in the Bronx, New York. Disney's Wide World of Sports complex will be the site of the 2007 Men's Soccer Championship, while the 2008 Golf Championships will be held at Disney's Magnolia Golf Course.
The 2008 Indoor Track & Field Championships will be held at the Armory Track & Field Center on February 22. The 2008 championship will mark the fourth consecutive year the event has been held at the Armory. The Tennis Championship return to the USTA National Tennis Center for 2008 championship, held April 18 - 20.
