Edison, N.J. ? Codie Sanders has resigned as Assistant Director of Media Relations/Webmaster.
Sanders was named the MAAC Webmaster in July 2003. In his role, he was responsible for all updates to the MAAC's main website and also assisted the Assistant Commissioner/Media Relations with service bureaus and other duties of the office of Media Relations.
Prior to joining the MAAC staff, Sanders was a media relations intern for the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference in Greensboro, N.C. He was the primary contact for volleyball, women's basketball and softball. Sanders was also responsible for the layout & design of all media guides and programs for the conference.
Sanders graduated from North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University in May 2002 with a BA in Public Relations. While in college, Sanders was a production assistant and on-air personality at WNAA 90.1 FM, wrote for the school's newspaper and was an Urban College Marketing Representative for Atlantic Records.
A national search for his replacement will begin immediately.
