MAAC Announces Additions To Staff

Edison, NJ - Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Commissioner, Richard J. Ensor, Esq., announces the hiring of Alisa Kresge as Director of Women’s Basketball Operations and Amy Feeney as Director of Marketing. 

 

Kresge will be responsible for crafting the conference’s women’s basketball schedule, coordinating the MAAC Women’s Basketball television package, supervising the coordinator of women’s basketball officials and assisting with the administration of the 2008 MAAC Men’s & Women’s Basketball Championships.

 

Kresge comes to the MAAC from Marist College, where she recently earned a degree in digital media.  While at Marist, she was a key member of the Red Foxes Women’s Basketball team and help lead the team to three NCAA appearances, three MAAC Tournament Championships and four MAAC regular season titles.  Kresge was also selected MAAC defensive player of the year for three straight seasons and made the All-Academic team each season she was eligible.

 

In her new role, Feeney will be responsible for sponsor fulfillment, overseeing the MAAC television package and other duties as assigned.

 

Feeney comes to the MAAC office from Temple University, where she just completed her master’s degree in sport & recreation administration.  While at Temple she also was a Marketing/Promotions Graduate Extern for the campus recreation department.  In that role, she designed flyers, banners, newsletters, slideshows, brochures, award materials and marketing items for all department activities and events.  She also assisted in creating flat TV ads and helped plan special events.  Feeney also had a similar role in her stint with the Philadelphia Sports & Social Club.  She also worked with Bennett and Company as a design assistant, where she assisted creating lingerie styles for Victoria’s Secret Catalogue, La Senza, Avon and JC Penny.

 

Feeney earned a degree in studio art from Hamilton College in Clinton, N.Y., where she was a member of the field hockey and basketball teams.
