Segni and Sequine Earn MAAC Cross Country Runners of the Week Honors

EDISON, N.J. ? Marist College’s Girma Segni and Siena College’s Brina Sequine have been named the MAAC Men’s and Women’s Cross Country Runners of the Week, respectively.

Segni, a junior, took first place overall in Friday’s Boston University Invitational. He completed the 8K course in a time of 26:09.

Sequine, a freshman, helped guide the Siena women’s cross country team to a ninth place finish on Saturday at the Fordham Invitational. She led the charge for the Saints, finishing the 5K course in 19:32, placing 20^th overall.
