Zasly, a sophomore midfielder, scored two goals in Marist's 3-0 victory at Temple. She had three shots on goal during the contest.
MAAC Defensive Player of the Week
Allison Lane, Marist
GK, Fr., 5-9, Marlton, N.J./Camden Catholic
Lane, a freshman goalkeeper, earned her first collegiate victory with a 3-0 shutout at Temple. She made five saves in 90 minutes of work.
MAAC Rookie of the Week
Lina Staropoli, Loyola
M, Fr., 5-7, Raritan, N.J./Bridgewater Raritan
Staropoli, a freshman midfielder, had a goal and an assist in two games this past weekend at the Colorado College Invitational. She scored the first point of her collegiate career on Friday against No. 25 Marquette, driving a corner kick into the box where Heather Cooke finished the goal. Staropoli then notched her first collegiate goal on Sunday against Colorado College, scoring in the 77th minute of play.
