Manhattan’s Milan Jotanovic was chosen as the MAAC Indoor Track Men’s Performer of the Week, while Rider’s Rebecca Clatch was selected as the Women’s Performer of the Week.At the Fordham Invitational on Friday, Jotanovic, a senior, qualified for the NCAA National Indoor Championships with a throw of 19.11 meters. His throw topped the second place performer at the meet by 5.2 meters. In 2007, Jotanovic set a MAAC Indoor Track & Field Championship record with a throw of 19.40 meters. Clatch, a senior, tied the Rider pole vault record by clearing a height of 3.20 meters (10’6”) at the Penn State Relays. She finished fifth in the event. The MAAC Men’s and Women’s Indoor Track Championships will be held on Friday, February 22nd at The Armory Track & Field Center in New York City.
