Michael Tuck, Loyola
Senior, Forward, 6-7, 230, Toronto, Ontario/Markham District
Tuck, a senior forward, averaged 16.5 points and 10.5 rebounds to lead the Greyhounds to a 2-0 week. He shot 54.5 percent from the floor and 80 percent from the free throw line. Tuck tallied 11 points and five rebounds in an 83-71 home win over then first-place Marist. He made five of his eight shots from the floor, and the five boards gave him exactly 500 for his career. Tuck followed that by matching his career high in points with 22, while grabbing a career-high 16 rebounds in a 62-57 road win at Saint Peter’s. His rebound total was most for a Loyola player since Bernard Allen grabbed that many against Manhattan (Feb. 6, 2005). Tuck entered game making 46 percent from the free throw line and made all eight attempts for his career high for made free throws.
