Manhattan to Host Loyola on January 26 on ESPNU

Edison, N.J. ? The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference continues its 2007-08 MAAC Basketball Television Schedule with Manhattan College hosting Loyola College on Saturday, January 26. Game time is slated for 4:00 p.m., and will air live on ESPNU, the 24-hour college sports network.
Loyola, 10-10 overall and 6-3 in the MAAC, is led by senior guard Gerald Brown, who is contributing 18.5 points and 5.1 rebounds per game, and junior guard Marquis Sullivan, who is posting 11.4 points and 2.1 rebounds an outing for the Greyhounds.
Manhattan, 8-11 overall and 2-7 in the MAAC, is led by sophomore guard Antoine Pearson, who is registering 12.0 points and 2.3 assists per game, and junior forward Devon Austin, who is averaging 10.0 points and 3.6 caroms an outing for the Jaspers.
This contest marks the 43rd meeting between the two programs. Last year, Loyola won the first game against Manhattan with a 77-58 win at Draddy Gymnasium on December 10, 2006. Manhattan then earned a 70-68 win at Reitz Arena on January 24. The Jaspers hold a 29-13 advantage in the all-time series between the two schools.
