2008-09 MAAC Basketball Season to Kick Off With Media Day at the ESPN Zone

Edison, N.J. ? The 2008 MAAC Basketball Media Day will take place on Tuesday, October 28 at the ESPN Zone in New York.
Media day activities will include the announcement of the men’s and women’s basketball preseason polls and All-MAAC teams. Head coaches from all the member institutions, along with select student-athletes, will be available for interviews with the media.
Speakers at this year’s event include Frank Ragusa, a Global Messenger from Special Olympics New York; Bob Schrumpf, MAAC Assistant Commissioner for Marketing & Sales; Alisa Kresge, MAAC Director of Women’s Basketball Operations; Zahki Barrance Lee of the Christ The King internship program; Bob Belber, General Manager of the Times Union Center-Albany, and MAAC Commissioner Richard J. Ensor, Esq.
The 2009 Citizens Bank MAAC Basketball Championships will take place from March 5-9 at the Times Union Center in Albany, N.Y.
