MAAC Co-Offensive Players of the Week

Ahna Johnson, Fairfield

M, Sr., 5-10, Hamden, Conn./Hamden

Johnson, a senior midfielder, played a role in each of the Stags’ three goals in the win on the road at Iona, finishing with a goal and two assists. She leads the team in goals (9) and points (22).

Theresa Ferraina, Loyola

F, Sr., 5-3, Hampden, Conn./Hampden

Ferraina, a senior forward, scored both Loyola goals in a 2-1 victory over Canisius on Sunday afternoon, to move into sole possession of first place in the MAAC. She leads the Greyhounds in goals (7), assists (8) and points (22).

MAAC Defensive Player of the Week

Laura Ettinger, Siena

GK, Fr., 5-9, Macungie, Pa./Emmaus

Ettinger, a freshman goalkeeper, allowed no goals against in 155:00 of action this weekend. She made 10 saves, including a seven-save effort in double overtime at Manhattan, to preserve the scoreless tie.

MAAC Rookie of the Week

Spenser Allaway, faifield

F, Fr., 5-3, Halifax, Nova Scotia/Williston Northampton (Mass.)

Allaway, a freshman forward, had her first multi-goal game as a collegian, netting a pair of goals, including the game winner in the Stags’ 3-0 win at Iona. She put the game winner into the back of the net, lifting it over the keeper in the 31^st minute. Allaway added an insurance goal in the 58^th minute.
