McCurty again led the charge as Siena ran its winning
streak to six. The junior middle hitter
averaged 4.5 kills, 2.8 digs and 0.8 blocks per set as the Saints swept Loyola
and Rider on the road. McCurty posted a .400 hitting percentage on the
week.

Mar, CA/Torrey Pines
Mann averaged 4.67 kills on .400 hitting in six sets.
The middle hitter was nearly perfect on the attack with 28 kills and committing
just two attack errors in 65 attempts. Mann also registered 10 digs, five
blocks, and a .973 serve percentage which included four aces.

Nieters recorded 47 digs in
eight sets in Iona’s two MAAC victories over Rider and Manhattan. Nieters
posted her fifth 30+ dig effort of the year at Rider on Saturday, currently the
second highest total of all NCAA D-I volleyball players acording to AVCA.com.
She recorded 17 digs vs. Manhattan in the three-set win and was perfect on 16
service receptions.

Balmert averaged 10.67
assists and 2.67 digs per set along with six kills, three aces and a block in
six sets. In the Stags’ 3-0 win over Niagara, Balmert just missed a
double-double posting 28 assists and nine digs. In the Stags’ 3-0 win over
Canisius, she assisted on 36 of the Fairfield’s 42 kills.
