Fairfield Men's Soccer Fall to Connecticut, 1-0

Storrs, Conn. ? Fairfield University (11-8) fell to the University of Connecticut (10-4-6), 1-0, at the Huskies’ Joseph A. Morrone Stadium in the first round of the 2008 NCAA Division I Men’s Soccer Championship.
Connecticut’s lone goal of the night came at the 14 minute mark with an own goal off the head of Fairfield’s Tucker Nathans.
Josh Ford recorded one save in goal for Connecticut. Justin Burse registered five saves between the pipes for Fairfield.
