Jamie Darvill, Loyola

Darvill, a junior forward, scored four goals in two Loyola home victories over the weekend. He recorded the hat trick in Sunday’s 3-0 win over Manhattan that clinched the MAAC regular-season title for the sixth-ranked Greyhounds. Darvill scored the game’s only goal in Friday’s 1-0 decision over Saint Peter’s in the 64th minute.

Josh Taylor, Loyola

Taylor, a senior defender, led a defense that posted two shutouts over the weekend. He played all 180 minutes of the contests and was a vital part of the 1-0 win over Saint Peter’s by making some key clearances out of the box in the last 10 minutes.
John Fiutowski, Niagara
Gk, Jr., 6-4, Ottawa, Ontario/St. Peter's Catholic
Fiutowski, a senior defender, helped his Purple Eagles sweep this past weekend’s action over Iona and Fairfield. He allowed one goal in 171 minutes of soccer action, finishing the weekend with a 0.53 goals-against average and 10 saves made.
MAAC Rookie of the Week
Carl Haworth, Niagara
M, Fr., 5-9, Barrie, Ontario/Barrie Central
Haworth, a freshman midfielder, scored his eighth and ninth goal of the season in a 4-0 win against Fairfield, a weekend that saw the Purple Eagles outscore their opponents, 7-1. His nine goals and four assists (22 points) put him second on the team.
