RACHELE FITZ, MARIST
Sophomore, Forward, 6-0, Seven Hills, OH/Trinity
Fitz averaged 21 points per game this week in games at Niagara and Canisius. The sophomore started the week with her 13th 20-plus point effort of the season, scoring 23 points against the Purple Eagles on 9-of-14 shooting from the field. She also pulled down nine rebounds in the game. Fitz followed up that game with a 19 point, eight rebound performance in Marist’s 91-46 win over Canisius on Sunday. For the week, Fitz shot 63.6% from the field and 87.5% from the free throw line and averaged eight rebounds a game.

CANDICE WALKER, LOYOLA
Freshman, Guard, 5-5, Baltimore, MD/Towson Catholic
Walker played all but seven minutes in two games and led the Greyhounds to two wins last weekend against teams that were tied for second and alone in third place in the conference entering the weekend. On Sunday, Walker scored 15 points and had five assists against Saint Peter’s. She made 7-of-8 free throws to help seal the win. At Manhattan, Walker scored 10 points and tied her career-highs with seven rebounds and six assists. She scored eight of her points after halftime and made a pull-up jumper on the right side of the lane with 45 second left in the game to give Loyola a one-point lead. Walker finished the week averaging 12.5 points per game (averaged 9.0 entering week), in addition to 5.0 rebounds (3.2) and 5.5 assists (2.8). She shot .471 from the field and .900 from the free throw line.
