MAAC Announces 2008 Women's Swimming & Diving All-Academic Team

EDISON, N.J. ? A total of 67
athletes comprise the 2008 MAAC Women’s Swimming and Diving All-Academic Team,
the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference announced today.
To be eligible for the
MAAC All-Academic Team, a student athlete must complete two semesters at their
institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale. Loyola College led all schools with 16
members named to the team. Iona College added eight
student-athletes. Marist College and Niagara University had seven
student-athletes apiece, while Canisius College and Rider University both had six
members. Fairfield University, Manhattan College and Siena College each had five
student-athletes. Saint Peter’s College rounded
out the team with two athletes.
