Draddy Gymnasium Hosts MAAC Basketball Doubleheader on Friday on ESPNU

Edison, NJ - Draddy Gymnasium, located on the campus of Manhattan College, will be the site for the next televised MAAC men's and women's basketball doubleheader this season on Friday, February 15. Both games will air live on ESPNU, the 24-hour college sports network.
The first game will feature two of this season's top women's teams in the MAAC with Iona College (9-4 MAAC, 15-9 overall) taking on Manhattan College (8-5 MAAC, 13-11 overall) at 5:30 p.m. Iona is led by guard Lauren DeFalco, who is first for the Gaels in scoring (11.2 ppg), assists (4.1 apg), and steals (2.2 spg). Center Anna McLean leads the conference with 9.6 rebounds per game and 2.17 blocks per game. For the Lady Jaspers, forward Caitlin Flood averages 17 points per game, third in the MAAC, and 6.2 rebounds per game. Guard Gabrielle Cottrell is second on the team in scoring (12.2 ppg) and leads the conference in free throw percentage (92.9%).
Game two has the Marist Red Foxes men's team taking on host Manhattan for an 8:00 p.m. tip-off. Marist, 9-5 in the MAAC, is led by freshman guard Jay Gavin, who averaging 13.3 points and 2.8 rebounds per game, and senior guard Louis McCroskey, who is netting 12.4 points and pulling down 5.6 rebounds a night. Manhattan, 3-11 in the MAAC, is led by sophomore guard Antoine Pearson, who averages 11.6 points per game and 2.5 assists. Junior forward Devon Austin posts 10.8 points and grabs 3.8 rebounds a night.
