Fisher, a senior forward, reached the 40-point plateau for the second-straight game when he tallied 41 points to lead Niagara to an 81-75 victory over Iona on Saturday. He became the first Division I basketball player to score 40 points in two consecutive contests since Jan. 28, 2006, when Adam Morrison scored 42 and 41 points in back-to-back games. Fisher scored 45 points at Loyola last Sunday to start the 40-point run. The nation’s leading scorer shot 12-of-22 from the floor and 14-for-17 from the line, while pulling in a team-high nine rebounds.

Warren Edney, Fairfield
Freshman, Forward, 6-5, 200, Vienna, Va./James Madison High
Edney, a freshman forward, tallied a career-high 18 points in Fairfield's 88-76 win over MAAC co-leader Rider. The freshman made seven of 11 shots, including three of five three-point attempts, in registering his mark. Edney’s three three-point baskets also represented a career-high, and represents the most by a Fairfield freshman this season.
Brian Rudolph, Loyola
Freshman, Guard, 5-11, 170, New Bedford, Mass./New Bedford
Rudolph, a freshman guard, netted a career-high 15 points, including nine in overtime, to help Loyola earn a 83-76 win at Siena. He also tallied a career-best eight rebounds and a team-high five assists in the victory. For the game, Rudolph shot 62.5 percent from the field and 80.0 percent from the free throw line.
