Rider to Take on Old Dominion in the Inaugural College Basketball Invitational

Edison, N.J. ? The Rider University men’s basketball team will travel to Norfolk, Va. to take on Old Dominion University in the first round of the inaugural College Basketball Invitational on Tuesday, March 18. Game time is slated for 7:00 p.m. in the Constant Center.
Rider (23-10) finished tied for first place in the MAAC, and was the runner-up in the 2008 Citizens Bank MAAC Championships.
Old Dominion (17-15) was the fourth seed in the Colonial Athletic Association, losing 63-60 to #5 College of William & Mary in the quarterfinals of the CAA Tournament.
The winner of the Rider-Old Dominion contest will face the winner of the University of Richmond-University of Virginia contest on Monday, March 24.
