Loyola's Gannon and Dunn Earn MAAC Tennis Weekly Awards

Edison, NJ ? Loyola’s Scott Gannon and Stephanie Dunn were named the MAAC Men’s and Women’s Tennis Players of the Week, respectively.
Gannon, a senior from Chatham, N.J., went 3-0 at No. 1 singles last week, helping the Greyhounds to a 2-1 record in dual-meet matches. Gannon earned straight set victories over Morgan State and UMES, and a three-set win over Mount St. Mary’s last week. He also teamed up with fellow co-captain Ben Epstein to win at No. 1 doubles against UMES.
Dunn, a sophomore from Media, Pa., went 3-0 in her singles matches last week, clinching a 4-3 victory over Morgan State with a three-set win at No. 5. Dunn also won at No. 5 singles against The Mount and at No. 4 singles against UMES.
The MAAC Men’s and Women’s Tennis Championships will take place from April 18th through April 20th at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing, New York.
